I actually had this cake delivered as a birthday gift, so I didn't get to taste it. But, I ordered it, knowing how wonderful Stubbe is, and had full confidence that it would be very happily received. The birthday girl (and her daughter), LOVED it.

Lovely chocolate cream and moist sponge cake with a nice candied “Dobos” topping but it’s not an authentic Hungarian Dobos. Quite different texture and taste. It’s good - especially the chocolate cream - but not authentically a Hungarian Dobos p POP

Best Dobos in the city and I speak form experience in having tasted many. This cake passed with flying colours all of our families standards for a fantastic dobos. Great chocolate, a crackling top and a sinfully good cake on the inside. Why stop at just one serving. A definite go to dessert.
