Stubbe Chocolates Stollen, prepared by Chef Daniel, using his family’s traditional German recipe. This dense cake is filled with orange peel, raisins and almonds soaked in run, with a marzipan log throughout. It is finished with a butter glaze and icing sugar.

The best ever. We have been buying Stubbe’s Stollen for a a dozen years or more. A sort of Family Holiday tradition. This year’s are magnificent (glad I bought 2). A little more boozy in flavour, but it gives it more complexity. Texture and fruit & nuts are excellent. Well done.
